I've Been Going Through Something... - Solo Exhibition Margate
Contemporary Artist and Poet Adam Lucy will be showing new works from his ongoing series ‘All My Memories Are Photographs’ in a brand-new solo art exhibition. These brightly coloured large scale acrylic works explore the fragility of remembrance, taking the viewer on a journey through memory and a quiet poignant grief. The artist utilises found photography to create colourful compositions in which he merges his own autobiographical history into the moments of others. Bright and vibrant skies and an intense colour palette create unsettling scenes that promise to stimulate and captivate, while Adams direct exploration of grief through art is arresting in its visual content and an encouragement for others to share their own personal moments.
Adam Lucy is a self-taught contemporary artist working and living between London and Margate where he has a studio space in the artists community Resort at Dreamland. Adam has had multiple group exhibitions in the cultural capitals of London and Edinburgh and shown work in combination with artists groups in Turin.
